Exploring Camden & ROckland
While you're staying in the mid-coast area, you might want to check out the many lovely shops and restaurants in downtown Camden and Rockland. Additionally, you may like the following:
Camden Hills State Park: There are many hiking trails of various lengths throughout the park, as well as a road you can drive up to the lookout tower on Mt. Battie. The park also offers camping sites.
The Farnworth Museum houses a nationally recognized collection of American art.
The Owls Head Transportation Museum offers a fine collection of classic planes, cars, motorcycles and bicycles.
